AARON S. WHITE

Aaron S. White is a native of Wadmalaw Island and a graduate of St. Johns High School. White has a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Coastal Carolina University and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of South Carolina. He is licensed by the State of South Carolina Board of Social Work Examiners as a Master Social Worker and works for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in the Veterans Health Administration. White specializes in mental health and provides mental health services to veterans and their families. He has also worked in social services as a Senior Social Worker at the South Carolina Department of Social Services serving families in the Tri-county area. He currently serves as an astute Mental Health Provider at the Ralph H. Johnson VA. He is a member of the Psi Chi Honor Society in Psychology, the Phi Alpha Honor Society in Social Work and a member of the National Association of Social Workers.

White has served in many capacities within the community. He has been a member of the Wadmalaw Island Land Planning Committee serving as the chair of  the Education subcommittee, served as Co-Chair of the Sea Island Democrats, and currently serves on the board of the Ethel Lance Foundation and Progressive Club of Johns Island. He is the husband of Mrs. Shekinah Patterson White.
